Homework and Reading Expectations
Children are allocated appropriate books based on their reading band. The minimum expectation for home reading is 3 times per week. This doesn’t always have to be reading to an adult but an adult’s signature is required in your child’s reading record. Class rewards allow our top readers to win prizes every term while our whole school rewards give every child the chance to attend an end of year reading party! Reading records are checked on Fridays.
Homework books and tasks will not presently be returned to school. Instead, homework should be evidenced by email. Please take a photograph of your child with their work or model and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Physical education will take place on Mondays. On this day, children are expected to attend school in their full P.E. uniform.
